Wieger Brown (1893-1971) architect

Wieger Brown was a Dutch architect. From 1947 he could add the title of extraordinary professor at Wageningen to his palmares.

Cornelis Jouke Blaauw (1885-1947) Architect

Cornelis Blaauw was a Dutch architect. His design style was usually simple and strict with many classical properties.

J.W.C. Boks (1904-1986) Building Engineer and Architect

Boxing was a civil engineer and architect. In addition to numerous houses he also realized great public buildings. There is even a book 'JWC Boks (1904-1986)' published about him, written by Hans W. Bakx.

Johannes Hendrik Willem Leliman (1878-1921) Architect and Building Engineering

Johannes Hendrik Willem Leliman was a Dutch architect. He went to school at the Poly-Technical School in Delft. After graduating he obtained the title as building engineer. Beside building houses, villas and ordinary housing, he was also editor of the Construction World and author of several books about houses and homes in the Netherlands. He also edited Gugel's History of Architectural Styles. He was also a board member at the Association of the Delft engineers, the craftschool and the ANWB. John was also co-founder of the Institute of Architecture and the Federal Heemschut.

John Fake Berghoef (1903-1994) building engineer

John Fake Berghoef is a Dutch engineer. Since 1947, he was also a professor at the Aalsmeer. He was particularly active in his hometown Aalsmeer. Along with JM Vegter he won the prize for the competition of the Amsterdam Town Hall in 1939.

Hendrik P. Berlage (1865-1934) architect

Hendrik Berlage was a Dutch architect with an international reputation. He created original architectural styles, this way he acquired his celebrity. He had his own vision of how renovation of architecture needed to be done. He wrote everything down and then published a number of books.

He influenced many architects, especially by top project for the Exhibition in Amsterdam (1898-1903). He was also working on decorative arts including furniture and paneling. And because he was so passionate about spaces and how to fill out he did the urban expansion of Amsterdam South, that of The Hague and Utrecht.

Jan Boterenbrood (1886-1932) Architect

Jan Boterenboord is a Dutch architect. He mainly built housing blocks in Amsterdam-West and South of Amsterdam (1923-1931) and in Tuindorp Nieuwendam (1923-1926).

Johannes Andreas Brinkman (1902-1949) building engineer

John Brinkman was a Dutch engineer. Along with LC van der Vlugt, he built many homes in and around Rotterdam. Thus, the Van Nelle factory in Rotterdam is one of their showpieces. This building is an example of functional building with a concrete frame and a the mushroom-system for the columns and floors. There was also used a lot of glass. After passing over of Van der Vlugt, he teamed up with Van den Broek in the office 'Brinkman and Van den Broek. Many works in the field of residential and non-residential building where established under his cooperation.

Paul Henri Nicholas Briėt (1894-1978) building engineer

Paul Briėt was a building engineer from the Netherlands and son of the painter Arthur Briėt. In addition to numerous houses and villas he built schools and retirement homes.

Lifespan
He graduated as a civil engineer at the Technical University in Delft.
Then he went into the service of the Dutch Railways where he worked with architect CB Posthumus Meyes.
In 1927, Paul formed a partnership with Johan Hanrath.
After passing over of Johan Hanrath in 1932, Paul continued his profession as an engineer on his own.

Albert Boeken (1891-1951) building engineer

Albert Boeken is a Dutch building engineer. From 1917 he was also active as an editor for the magazine 'Forum'. He also restored many buildings that were destroyed during the First World War.

Berend Tobia Boeyinga (1886-1969) architect

Berend Tobia Boeyinga was a Dutch architect. He worked at M. de Klerk and was from 1921 to 1926 architect at the Municipal Housing Agency of Amsterdam. He built some houses and many churches.
