Albert Kahn (1869-1942) Architect

Albert Kahn was an architect born in Germany who moved to America and worked there since 1881. He built mainly factories. As he worked his First Five Year Plan in Russia (from 1928 untill 1931).

Main achievements
Dodge factory in Detroit (1938).
The 'Lincoln Mercury division of the Ford Motor Cy in St. Louis.
Building for General Motors Cy in Ohio.

Sergius Ivan Chermayeff (1900) Architect

Ivan Chermayeff was an architect born in Russia and later worked in England. From 1946 to 1951 he was director of the Institute of Design in Chicago. He designed many office and exhibition buildings.

Most famous realizations
Office and factory buildings for Gilbey's in Camden Town.
