Paul Henri Nicholas Briėt (1894-1978) building engineer

Paul Briėt was a building engineer from the Netherlands and son of the painter Arthur Briėt. In addition to numerous houses and villas he built schools and retirement homes.

Lifespan
He graduated as a civil engineer at the Technical University in Delft.
Then he went into the service of the Dutch Railways where he worked with architect CB Posthumus Meyes.
In 1927, Paul formed a partnership with Johan Hanrath.
After passing over of Johan Hanrath in 1932, Paul continued his profession as an engineer on his own.
